Structural Core Engineering
The foundation of this custom water feature depends heavily on the internal metal framework:

• Core Material: Marine-grade SS316/ SS304  Stainless Steel plates or heavy-gauge Corten steel are standard choice to prevent rust.
• Structural Framing: Reinforced steel ribs and channel beams are welded internally to withstand the heavy dead load of stone tile cladding.
• Waterproofing: The internal steel basin and backing plates must be fully welded, water-tested, and treated with rubberised anti-corrosive membrane liners before cladding application.

All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) lines must pass through dedicated, sealed penetration points. Running these lines directly through the internal steel plate structure keeps all pipes and wires hidden behind the stone cladding.
